•In 1916 in the Phillipines, is when spiking was first introduced.
•In 1917 the game was changed from 21 to 15 points.
•In 1920, rules were made for the number of hits per side (3).
•In 1928, the United States Volleyball Association (USVBA) was made, because they needed rules.
•The first World Campionships were held in Prage, Czechoslovakia, 1964.
•Volleyball was introduced to the Olympic Games in 1964
•The first known beach volleyball association was created in 1965 in California.

•A special ball was invented for volleyball in 1900. It was probably made of leather.

Volleyball was invented in 1895 by William G. Morgan. He created the game to be a mix of basketball, baseball, tennis and handball. He originally called it mintonette.

Always play as a team and always try harder❤️
Two teams of six players compete against each other on opposite sides of a court. Everytime the ball hits your floor it's a point for the other team (vise-versa). You rotate positions on the court counter clockwise, passing, setting, and spiking in rallies. First team to 21 points wins the set!
•You can't touch the net or cross the line underneath.
•You play on volleyball court. A standard court has an outside border of 59 feet long and 29.5 feet wide with a net on the center line and two lines on either side of the net ten feet away from center line (ten foot line).
•A volley is when you get a bump(pass), set, and then a spike(hit).
•You must serve behind the back out line
